In accordance with the Indiana Open Door Law, I.C. 5-14-1.5-1 requires the Elkhart County Council to give the Media written notice of the date, time, and place of its meetings, executive sessions, and rescheduled or reconvened meetings. Pursuant to I.C. 5-14-1.5-5, the statute requires 48 hours’ notice (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays) to be given to the public and specifically to news media that request in writing prior to January 1 of each calendar year.
Keeping in compliance, attached are Notices of Special Meetings of the Elkhart County Commissioners and the Elkhart County Council.
