The County Commissioners, County Council Members, and the Library Boards are currently seeking dedicated individuals who have a passion for public libraries and the ability to effectively advocate for them. Do you have the interest, energy, and expertise necessary to be a Library Board Member? These volunteer positions require a sincere commitment to the library, the ability to represent the library well in the community, some leadership and business skills, and a talent for working well in a team environment. It is also important that Library Board Members are able to bring the communities needs to the attention of the library and libraries needs to the attention of the community.
