The County Commissioners, County Council Members, and the Library Boards are currently seeking dedicated individuals with a passion for public libraries and the ability to advocate for them effectively. Do you have the interest, energy, and expertise necessary to be a Library Board Member? These volunteer positions require a sincere commitment to the library, the ability to represent the library well in the community, some leadership and business skills, and a talent for working well in a team environment. It is also important that Library Board Members can bring the community's needs to the library's attention and the library's needs to the community's attention.
