The County Council and the County Boards are currently seeking dedicated individuals who have a passion for public boards and the ability to effectively advocate for them. Do you have the interest, energy, and expertise necessary to be a County Board Member? These volunteer positions require a sincere commitment to the specialized board they are appointed to, the ability to represent the board well within the community, some leadership and business skills, and a talent for working well in a team environment. It is also important that County Board Members are able to bring the community’s needs to the attention of the board and the board’s needs to the attention of the community.
